Kumaun University Date Sheet: According to UGC guidelines, Kumaun University will soon release its date sheet for 2024 which will be held in June. As per the guidelines colleges and universities are allowed to choose the way to conduct the examination in June which can be online or offline both ways. The result of these exams has to be released by July 31st and after that new sessions will start from 2024 for existing students and new admissions will start from 1st August to 31st August after which classes will start for the new session from 1st September. Now as per these guidelines, Kumaun University has also said that they are about to release their date sheet for 2024 for which they can conduct exams in both online and offline methods. These exams will start from 1st June for all the year students.

Now according to UGC guidelines, all the colleges and universities have to create some changes in the educational pattern which are –

  1. Conducting exams for existing students from 2024
  2. Starting of regular classes for students of 2nd and 3rd year from 1st April.
  3. Starting a new admission process from 1st August which will remain till 31st August.
  4. Starting of new session classes from 1st September
  5. Starting 25% of classes online for all the courses.
  6. Declare results for the exams till 2024

All these changes have been done because of the pandemic condition of coronavirus in the country and these changes will promote the e-education system in India after the lockdown as per UGC. After all these measures and changes if the situation does not improve in the country then all the universities are instructed to give results based on last year’s performance and on an assignment basis in which the marks will be divided 50 – 50 %, in which assignment basis marks will be 50% and 50 % based on last term performance.
