Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed SSLC (10th standard) from a recognized board. It is also mandatory to have Tamil as one of the subjects. This ensures that candidates have the basic educational knowledge and language skills required for the job.

  • General Category: 18 to 24 years
  • MBCs/DCs, BCs (Other than Muslim): 18 to 26 years

Application Fee

Selection Process

The selection will be based on multiple stages to ensure only the most capable candidates join the force:

  1. I) Men:

Normal Minimum 81cms
Expansion Minimum 5 cms expansion and minimum 86 cms required while on expansion.

Note: Exempted from Physical Measurement Test for all Ex-serviceman candidates.

ENDURANCE TEST for TNUSRB Police Recruitment

Men 1500 meters run in 7 minutes
Women/ Transgender 400 meters run in 2 minutes 30 seconds
Veterans / Ex-personnel of Central Para-Military Forces/ serving persons who are going to retire within one year. 1500 meters run in 8 minutes
